A woman caught stealing a £20,000 Audi A3 after it came loose from a tow truck in Bradford has been sentenced to a 12-month community order with 150 hours of unpaid work.
Denell Gillan, 19, pleaded guilty to theft when she appeared at Bradford Crown Court.
She and a man, who was jailed for 13 weeks for the offence in October, were seen with the car near Tesco on the Shipley Airedale Road on May 28 last year.
Gillan, of Cobden Terrace, Wortley, Leeds, had her sentence deferred until yesterday.
Her barrister, Kama Melly, said she had made good progress in the last eight months.
