Two Bradford-based activity groups for people with disabilities have received funding from the Neil Hudgell Solicitors Trust.
Chellow Hearts, based at Chellow Heights School in Thorn Lane, has received £990 to buy ‘Glide Bikes’ which are designed for children with a range of disabilities. They will form part of the group’s new outdoor learning area – an interactive road used to teach road safety and cycling proficiency .
Apperley Bridge-based Disability Rocks has received £944 from the Trust. The group provides music and arts experiences for disabled people, their families, friends and carers and the funding will be used to buy a marquee for the organisation’s annual festival in June.
More than 50 organisations across Yorkshire have benefited from funding from Neil Hudgell Solicitors Trust since it was launched in April 2012. The Trust was established to mark the 15th anniversary of Neil Hudgell Solicitors, which employs 100 staff in Leeds and Hull.
Application forms and information about funding from the Trust are available from neil-hudgell.co.uk
