Telegraph & Argus readers are being given unprecedented access to West Yorkshire’s Police and Crime Commissioner in an exclusive live web-chat tomorrow evening.

Mark Burns-Williamson will tomorrow be touring the district to talk to various groups about his five-year Police and Crime Plan which he unveiled earlier this year and sets out his vision and priorities for policing in the county.

Straight after a question-and-answer event in Bradford which concludes at 6.30pm, Mr Burns-Williamson will be available for around an hour to engage directly with T&A readers online.

We’ll be setting up a special live event on our website – to take part just go to thetelegraphandargus.co.uk and follow the instructions on the front page. We’ll be asking readers to post their questions in the comments section of the story on the front page and we’ll put them to Mr Burns-Williamson, who will try to answer as many as he can.

You’ll need to be registered to use the website to take part, which is free and takes just a few seconds.

We’ll also take questions via the social networking site Twitter – to submit a question this way, please address it to our account @Bradford_TandA and please use the hashtag #bradfordpolice so we can easily spot your question.

You might want to sign up to the website now or follow us on Twitter so you can be ready for the event tomorrow.

Throughout the day Mr Burns-Williamson, Chief Constable Mark Gilmore and Airedale and Bradford North divisional commander Chief Supt Angela Williams will call in at various projects to discuss aspects of the Crime and Police Plan.

If you want to read Mr Burns-Williamson’s plan, you can see the details at westyorkshire-pcc.gov.uk.

There are many aspects on which you can quiz Mr Burns-Williamson, who says that tackling burglary is one of his top priorities.

Perhaps you want to know how the police expect to spend money they get from the Proceeds of Crime Act, or how the police are coping with falling officer numbers. Maybe anti-social behaviour is something you want to know how the police plan to tackle.

Log on to the T&A website from 6.30pm for the start of the webchat.
