More than 30 shops in Otley are getting dressed for the occasion of the town’s carnival. With less than two weeks until the big day on Saturday, June 15, businesses have been challenged to get involved and dress the part to impress judges looking for imagination and colour. A team of judges will be looking at the windows on Sunday to decide on the winners. The shops have been given free reign for any theme they like, said competition organiser Sue Bye. A parade marking the carnival’s 30th anniversary will lead to entertainment and the main arena activities in the field at Bridge End on the day.
