District planners have prepared a report for the determination of a much-delayed Ilkley church redevelopment scheme, about a year and a half after the plans were submitted.
Bradford Council confirmed officers are still compiling information for the decision of the plan for All Saints Parish Church. It had yet to be decided if the application would be determined by councillors or officers acting under delegated powers.
All Saints wants to refurbish neighbouring building Church House to provide meeting rooms and church officers, and construct a new glazed link building between the main church building and Church House.
The planning application was validated by Bradford Council in January 2012, and statutory and public consultation began. But the plan was held up amid discussions with archaeological and heritage bodies.
Shallow test trenches were dug for an archaeological survey on the site of the proposed link building last year, and a report recently revealed no major finds were uncovered.
