Rain failed to stop play during an afternoon of fun at a Keighley community centre.
More than 100 people enjoyed the occasion at Hainworth Wood Community Centre on Tuesday.
The event started at 1pm and included outdoor games, Zumba, hula-hoop sessions, a barbecue, face painting, kite making and other arts and crafts.
There were also competitions, a tombola, a police information bus and representatives from a variety of local services, including the Play Rangers and Bradford Council Youth Service.
The afternoon was arranged by community development worker, Sonia Evers, who said people were not discouraged by the bad weather.
“The only thing we haven’t been able to put on has been the bouncy castle,” she said. “The barbecue was under a gazebo but people were taking part in the Zumba and hula-hooping out in the rain and we had very good attendance. The young people continued playing games outside as well.
“Lots of different members of the community have come along.
“They’ve been meeting each other, breaking down barriers and getting to know the different agencies that offer services in the area.”
