International coxless fours rowing champion Andrew Triggs Hodge, recently named Yorkshireman of the Year at the 2013 Dalesman Awards, is giving a talk at next month’s Grassington Festival.
The 34-year-old former Boat Race winner with Oxford is a double world champion and a double Olympic champion, winning gold in the 2008 Beijing Olympics and last year’s London Olympics. Since 2002 he has won 14 gold world cup medals.
His talk takes place on Monday, June 24, at Grassington Town Hall, starting at 7pm. The evening will be chaired by Ian Douglass, long-serving deputy head at Ermysted’s Grammar School, Skipton.
