Wrose holds its Neighbourhood Forum Meeting on June 13 and residents are invited to voice their opinions on issues that affect the area.
Matters for discussion include an imminent switch from green bags to wheelie bins for green waste collections.
Shipley Neighbourhood Police Team will also be present to hear views on law and order – including anti-social behaviour near the Co-op shops.
There will also be details on the introduction of a new Cold Calling Zone to deter door-to-door con artists.
District and parish councillors will be present to tackle other matters including:
- Wrose Library
- Claremont Park Drainage
- The crossing at Plumpton Lea
- 4x4s
Bradford Councillor Alex Ross-Shaw said it was a valuable chance to hear first hand what electors think of life in the district.
“It’s an opportunity for people to find out what’s going on and also have their say on local issues. Obviously, we want to hear from them,” said Coun Ross-Shaw (Lab, Windhill and Wrose).
The meeting is at Wrose Methodist Church, Wrose Road and starts at 7pm.
