Bradford’s new film school is running a 48-hour challenge for prospective film course students, aged 16 to 19, on June 13 and 14.
Entrants will be given the chance to put their film-making skills on show, get to know other young film-makers in the area, and be introduced to the whole production process and the new Bradford Film School.
The first day will involve students being shown around the new WWI Film School and its facilities at Bradford College. Students will then plan, produce and shoot a short film in groups.
Day two will consist of post-production and presentation of short films. Entrants will be judged by a jury including David Wilson, director of Bradford, City of Film.
The Bradford Film School also offers a workshop on student film distribution which is free of charge and can be presented at schools and colleges. This covers the different ways in which young film-makers can promote their work at festivals, events and online.
The WWI Film School aims to be the best film school in the world.
