Pupils at Newby Primary School, Bradford, have taken part in a five-day project with Leeds artist Paul McDevitt.
The children created pieces of art on a sports theme to put up in the hall at the school in Manchester Road.
Head teacher Janice Stephenson said: “The success of the Olympics inspired my vision for the project and I am very proud of the talented children that we have here at Newby.”
Sharon Thompson, the school’s art practitioner, said: “It was a great way of combining art with sports and the children have had a great time putting the pieces together.”
Pupil Kiran Abbas said: “I have had a lot of fun and I am happy that I was picked to do the project. It was nice to work with children from other year groups.”
Parents visited to celebrate the success of the project.
