Benefactors at businesses in Bradford are among those supporting an outing for 500 disadvantaged children.
Rotary and Inner Wheel members will accompany the youngsters for a day at Lightwater Valley, in North Yorkshire, on June 12 for which they raised £8,000.
Sponsors include Bingley-based Emerald Publishing Group, whose founder Keith Howard is a Rotarian.
Former Rotary district governor Willie Clark, who is managing director of Shipley-based engineering firm Partline, said: “We know the kids get a lot out of it. Their carers always say it is a great event for them, but to be honest or members look forward to it too.”
