A drug addict who stored, prepared and supplied cocaine to be sold on the streets has been jailed for 28 months.
Bradford Crown Court heard yesterday that Ibras Khan, 24, of Naseby Rise, Queensbury, developed an insatiable addiction to cocaine.
Police found quantities of the drug, with a street value of £2,265, at Khan’s home and in a car parked outside.
The court heard Khan, who pleaded guilty to supplying cocaine and possessing it with intent to supply, had gone to university to study business and accounting, but had fallen a long way since.
Judge Jonathan Durham Hall QC told him: “The drugs have brought you to this very sad position, but you knew what you were doing.”
