Train services in and out of Bradford Interchange were temporarily disrupted this evening after a signalman suffered a suspected heart attack.
An ambulance was called to the Mill Lane signalbox at about 4.30pm.
Services were stopped while another signalman was found, said staff at the station. A Northern Rail spokesman said services started to resume at about 6pm.
Some commuters experienced delays of up to 45 minutes, while some train services were cancelled all together.
Services were expected to be back to normal by about 7pm.
