A Bradford cancer scientist and friends have raised £4,140 for Yorkshire Cancer Research ahead of a seven-day cycle ride to Paris and back.
Dr Mark Sutherland, of Bradford University’s Institute of Cancer Therapeutics, is part of a group of 13 who plan to cycle 700 miles to coincide with the Tour de France in July. They will be bag- packing at Morrisons, Thornbury, 10am-4pm tomorrow and Sunday to help reach their £5,000 target.
