A distinctive jacket worn by Bradford speedway legend Simon Wigg is being auctioned for charity.
The Wulf Sport padded coat is one of three and was originally worn by his mechanic.
Former England captain Mr Wigg, who died from a brain tumour aged 40 in 2000, was British speedway champion twice and world long-track champion five times.
Speedway fanatic John Murphy is auctioning the jacket – size 38 to 40 – on behalf of its owner. It has a reserve price of £100 and proceeds will be split between the owner’s nominated charity and the Willen Hospice in Milton Keynes where Mr Wigg spent his final hours.
Mr Murphy said: “Simon was famous for employing the green colour scheme across his leathers and bikes.”
Bids can be e-mailed to murphyj241@gmail.com.
