‘Hives, honey and homicide’ is the theme for Mikron Theatre Company’s latest performance on their national ‘Beyond the Veil’ tour of allotment sites.
In collaboration with Bradford Beekeepers, the group will bring their gentle comedy detective story to life while giving their audience a glimpse into the world of beekeeping.
Dubbed CSI meets Camberwick Green, the performance focuses on the gardeners of Thistledale Allotments, a group of larger-than-life characters, with live music, and forms part of Mikron’s ‘Beyond the Veil’ national tour 2013.
The Bradford Beekeepers performance starts at 1pm on Saturday, June 8, in the Old Bowling Green, Knowles Park, Dudley Hill, Bradford. The audience is invited to a hive demonstration at noon and after the performance.
No tickets are required but a collection will be taken during the performance. For more information visit bfdbka.org.uk or call (01274) 824414.
It is an outdoor show but shelter will be available and the audience are asked to take their own chairs and picnics.
