Bradford pop star Kimberley Walsh (pictured) has been chosen as an ambassador for Sky Ride, which is holding its fourth bike ride in the city on Sunday, August 11 The Girls Aloud singer will take part in part of the initiative’s first Yorkshire event in Leeds on Sunday, July 3. The free cycling events gives people the chance to ride their bikes on traffic-free streets.
Kimberley said: “It’s a fantastic initiative and cycling is a great way to stay in shape and keep healthy..”
During Bradford’s Sky Ride last year, an estimated 7,000 people took to the streets and this summer the route will once again take a 5km route from City Park to Lister Park and back again.
