Police are warning the elderly to be on their guard after bogus plumbers targeted pensioners in Bradford.
The callous conmen struck at the homes of two elderly women in Wibsey.
The men claimed they needed to check their homes for damage or gas leaks. The residents later found their handbags had been stolen.
Police are warning residents not to allow people without proof of identity into their homes and should report any suspicious incidents to police.
One suspect is described as a light-skinned, possibly Asian, man who spoke good English and was very polite, in his mid-30s, about 5ft 10ins tall, of medium build, with short black hair, and wearing a navy blue jumper and navy blue trousers, and holding a black clipboard.
A second suspect is described as a white man, in his 30s, about 5ft 5ins tall, with black hair, and wearing a blue hoodie and blue tracksuit bottoms.
