An “increasingly derelict” petrol station in Keighley town centre can be converted into a car wash following a decision by Bradford Council.
The former filling station on Park Road has been empty for several years, and Shahbaram Rehman has been given permission to open a car wash and preparation business on site.
Planning officer Peter Timbrell said: “The site is becoming increasingly derelict, to the detriment of local residential amenity. The re-introduction of commercial activity would prevent further degradation.”
