The 30th Anniversary programme for Otley Carnival has been launched.
The Original Factory Shop, on Crossgate, sponsored the competition to create the look for the event’s poster and programme, which was won by Westgate Primary School. Pupil Hollie Russell – who received a shield, book token and T-shirt bearing her cover design – joined the 2012 Carnival Queen, Poppy Roberts, and the store’s assistant manager, Kath Windle, to sell the first programmes.
They contain full details of the parade route and all the activities that will follow at the Bridge End showfield on Saturday, June 15.
