Young performers have been showing off their talents in front of a judging panel of television stars.
The event was Calverley’s Got Talent, held by the Wysoczanski Academy in the village’s Mechanics Institute. “It’s our very own Britain’s Got Talent,” said Sophie Wysoczanski, who runs the group.
“Guest judges were invited to inspire our pupils that they can make their dreams a reality if they work hard.”
Judges included Bradford actors Darcy Isa, one of the stars of BBC1 drama Waterloo Road, and Josh Brown, who has been in Grange Hill and Waterloo Road.
The youngsters were also treated to a performance from girl group Voxe, which competed in last year’s X Factor.
