Police are studying CCTV footage for clues to armed robbers who held up shop staff in Bradford.
The masked raiders, who were wielding baseball bats, struck at the Sainsbury’s Local store, in Keighley Road, Frizinghall, at 10.50pm on Wednesday.
They threatened staff, stole money from the tills, and demanded property from the safe, but fled on foot when they failed to obtain any. It is believed they escaped in a red Ford Mondeo.
Police have completed house-to-house inquiries and are now examining CCTV.
They continue to appeal for witnesses, who should contact Airedale and North Bradford CID, via 101, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111, quoting reference number 13130212617.
