Police are hunting arsonists who struck at a factory in Rodley, Leeds.
The blaze at Fabrication Plastics, in Rodley Lane, broke out at about 9.30pm on Sunday.
Fire crews from Idle, Rawdon, Stanningley and Leeds were at the scene until midnight making it safe.
A stock of plastic components in a yard at the back of the premises caught fire and spread into the main factory complex, which contained expensive machinery and gas cylinders.
Fire crews managed to stop the blaze reaching a large silo oil container which was in danger of exploding.
