More than 50 teams have now signed up to take part in this year’s Oxenhope Straw Race.
The organisers of the event, which takes place on Sunday, July 7, are still seeking more people willing to get involved.
The popular event raised £13,000 for a dozen charities in 2012.
Competitors organised into two-person teams tackle a 2.5-mile route, stopping off for beer at five venues on the way, while carrying a bale of straw for part of the distance.
The course begins at the Waggon and Horses Inn and finishes at the Dog and Gun.
The entry fee is £25, though the fee for those teams entering at registration or on race day will be £30. For more details on how to enter go to strawrace.com
