Bradford’s Sanctuary in Schools (SiS) project is putting on a summer school.
The SiS project, which is part of Bradford City of Sanctuary, has come up with the Holy Kapow Summer School to help get youngsters ready for moving up to secondary school.
The holiday scheme is an extension of the project which is already working with more than ten schools in Bradford encouraging them to welcome all who are new to them, especially asylum seekers and refugees.
SiS Steering Group chairman Daryll Hackett, who leads Holy Kapow, said the team has more than 15 years experience of delivering creative, educational programmes for schools.
There is already a booking for the first week of the summer holidays at St Joseph’s Catholic College in Heaton, but other weeks are still available. For details, e-mail schools@bradford. cityofsanctuary.org
