A total of 20 jobs will be created with the opening of a £750,000 specialist care home in Bradford.
Yorkshire-based Horizon Healthcare Homes has started to construct the home on the site of the former Cap and Bells pub in Cooper Lane, Buttershaw.
Beckside Lodge is expected to be open in October and will provide specialist accommodation for up to eight adults with learning difficulties, who may also suffer from physical disability or sensory impairment.
Roger Williams, managing director of Horizon Healthcare Homes Ltd, said: “We look forward to offer our services to those in need of specialist support in the city.”
The company also runs care homes in Huddersfield and Leeds.
