A charity football tournament arranged by a Keighley man who survived a heart attack raised £1,085 for the British Heart Foundation.
The event easily reached the target set by organiser Darren Gilmartin, 43, of Ingrow, who had said he hoped to raise more than £500. Mr Gilmartin’s father, Noel, died of a heart attack two years ago.
The five-a-side tournament featured 12 teams and took place at Marley Stadium.
Mr Gilmartin said: “It was fantastic. The sun was shining and it went even better than I expected. About 50 spectators came to watch.”
