Bradford’s biggest social landlord is looking for its top tenants, from caring neighbours to green-fingered gardeners.
Incommunities’ Star Awards celebrate the individuals and groups who are brightening up their neighbourhoods.
The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony to be held on September 9 at the Midland Hotel, Bradford.
Guests will be treated to a masterclass from top floral designer and Chelsea Flower Show prize-winner Jonathan Moseley.
Adrienne Reid, Incommunities’ assistant chief executive, said: “Our 2013 star awards promise to be bigger and better than ever and the search starts now to find our ‘magnificent seven’.
“These awards are a great way of showcasing how individuals of all ages and groups are improving lives and neighbourhoods, so don’t delay and get your nominations in now.”
The categories are:

* ‘Kids’ corner’, which searches for children who make great gardeners or vegetable growers, or who have helped in garden makeovers or clean-ups;
* ‘Rising star’, which recognises young tenants, aged under 21, who have overcome a personal barrier or made a difference to their community;
* ‘Community star’, which celebrates tenants who help to make their community a better place, or people who run community centres;
* ‘Star neighbour’, which honours an individual who has gone above and beyond to help a neighbour;
