These children did not let anything get in the way of raising money to help people overseas.
Pupils aged five and six have been learning about the world at Windhill Primary School, Shipley, and decided to raise money to support Christian Aid and help children less fortunate.
Teacher Heather O’Malley said: “They really, really wanted to help. I’m really proud of them and really proud that they’ve got the understanding of those different parts of the world and children that have different needs to them.”
The 20 children had planned a fancy dress charity race, but cold weather and rain meant they completed an indoor obstacle course instead.
The amount raised has yet to be counted.
