A church is asking residents how it can use its building better.
St James the Great Church, which serves the Woodhall, Waterloo, Delph End and Owlcotes areas of Pudsey, is holding a community consultation day on Saturday, June 8.
Members of the congregation will be on hand to help visitors complete a questionnaire asking them whether they think more community space is needed and if so, what they would like to do in it.
Father Nicholas Clews, parish priest, said, “The church is huge and could be much better used, while we are turning away people who want to use the parish hall. The answer would seem to be to make the church building itself much more flexible.”
The event will include a coffee morning from 10am until noon and afternoon tea, with free cake, from 2pm to 4pm.
