International suitors including Abu Dhabi’s sovereign wealth arm are considering buying a 30 per cent stake in Bradford-based Yorkshire Water, which has been put up for sale by its private equity and fund owners for between £1 billion and £1.5 billion, according to reports. Yorkshire Water owner Kelda was bought by Saltaire Water for £3 billion in 2007.
