Masked robbers brandishing knives stormed into a Bradford store where they forced staff to open the tills and fled with the cash.
Police are appealing for information after the armed robbery at The Co-operative on Harrogate Road, Eccleshill.
They say two men, wearing balaclava masks and armed with knives, entered the store and made demands of the staff to open the tills.
The raiders then helped themseves to cash and fled.
The first suspect is described as white, slim, 6ft tall, aged about 20. He was wearing a duck egg blue hooded top with his hood up, blue denim jeans, black gloves and a thin nylon balaclava with eye holes cut out.
The second was white, also slim, and 5ft 10ins tall. He wore blue denim jeans and a grey hooded top with hood up, with a similar facial covering.
The raid took place at 9.55pm on Friday and police are appealing for witnesses.
