McDonald's staff had a clean sweep as they began their partnership with a nearby school.
Four workers from the fast-food restaurant joined six pupils to clear- up the area surrounding Eastwood Primary School in Keighley.
The restaurant, on Hard Ings Road, in the town, has also agreed to provide at least £500 from its community fund to the school. The money will pay for a new football kit and could be followed by fundraising for the school.
McDonald’s shift manager Jamie Green said the partnership grew out of the company’s Love Where You Live campaign to support communities near its restaurants.
Eastwood head teacher Bill Bairstow said he hoped McDonald's would also help with the school's drive to buy a new minibus to get pupils to sports activities as well as on outdoor trips.
He said: "We're aiming at buying a minibus for about £10,000, then we'll need regular fundraising for the ongoing maintenance.”
