Students have been recognised for helping improve a cemetery.
Carlton Bolling College pupils have been given certificates of appreciation as part of the Revamping History project, which involved students learning about the history of Undercliffe Cemetery.
They landscaped and tidied parts of the cemetery and made bird boxes and an amphitheatre.
The college, in Undercliffe Lane, Bradford, has adopted an area of the cemetery and will make more improvements over the next few months.
This project was organised in partnership with Otley Road and Barkerend Environment group, Bradford Council wardens and Undercliffe Cemetery.
School governor Gareth Logan said: “This project is a fantastic way of practically involving students to make positive contributions and build the confidence of students.”
