Dozens of pupils at Oakbank School, in Keighley, had a chance to learn from a theatrical performer at a series of workshops.
Former Oakbank pupil Simon Shorten (pictured with pupils) returned to his school to share his experience with 40 students.
These pupils have been involved in an ambitious and highly successful production of Les Miserables.
Simon is currently the understudy for the Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera in the West End. Catherine Embleton, a teaching assistant in the performing arts department, said: “It was absolutely fantastic and very inspiring.”
