Young performers are invited to audition for this year’s Bradfactor talent contest.
The competition, aimed at showcasing the talents of young people aged 11 to 25 across the district, is organised by Zap Promotions.
Organiser Paula Helliwell said: “Our aims are to provide a platform for young people in Bradford, build their confidence, skills and self esteem and bring different communities together.”
The contest is open to singers or dancers of any genre, solo or groups. A series of auditions will lead to a grand final at St George’s Hall on Saturday, October 5. The hosts will be Twist and Pulse, finalists on a previous series of ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent, and this year’s guest performers are The Mend.
This year, for the first time there will be a Bradfactor Junior for children aged four to ten. There will be an audition day from which they will choose 12 acts.
Applications forms are available by e-mailing paula. helliwell@googlemail.com.
