Bradford rock and blues singer Chantel McGregor has two gigs for local audiences this month.
The singer/songwriter will be at the Meeting Room in Elland tomorrow and at LS21 Live in Otley on Sunday.
Aged 12, Chantel was jamming in Bradford and she later enrolled at the Leeds College of Music, becoming the first student to achieve a 100 per cent pass mark, with 18 distinctions. She graduated with a First Class Honours degree in Popular Music and a prize for outstanding musicianship.
Chantel describes playing live as “one of the most wonderful feelings”.
“I feel so lucky to be able to do something that I love, see the world and bring happiness to others through my music,” she adds.
Her debut album, Like No Other, showcases her versatility and talent as a singer-songwriter.
"I really enjoy creating my own songs,” says Chantel.
