A 20-metre tall wind turbine can be built in Denholme with Bradford Council deciding that the presence of other nearby turbines made it a suitable location.

The application is for Shay Farm in Brighouse and Denholme Road.

In approving the scheme, planning officer Peter Timbrell said: “The locality here is considered to be capable of accommodating further developments of this type in preference to the open, undeveloped moors or areas of significant tourism value.”
