Keighley Cougars’ long-serving captain James “Buster” Feather has joined the groundbreaking Cougar Park-based Your Sporting Chance (YSC) scheme as a project worker.
Buster will serve alongside team mate Brendon Rawlins on the initiative, which works with young people involved in – or at risk of committing – low-level anti-social behaviour.
Buster said: “I’ve been volunteering with YSC for several months, working with the young people and also taking on some appropriate training, and I’ve found the whole experience extremely rewarding.
"When an opportunity came up to join the team on a full-time basis, it was a chance I couldn’t miss.”
