A group of pupils at Buttershaw Business and Enterprise College will visit Bradford-based chartered accountants Watson Buckle as part of an initiative to prepare them for the world of work.
Eight 12 year-olds will visit the Cottingley firm as part of the Bradford Work Inspiration Week, an initiative by E3 Bradford.
The E3 Bradford project has the backing of Bradford East MP David Ward, and is supported by Bradford Council and Bradford Chamber of Commerce.
The Buttershaw students will spend the morning at Watson Buckle learning how the world of work operates and inspiring them to think about pursuing careers in accountancy.
Susan Sedgwick, pictured, managing partner at Watson Buckle, said: “Bradford Work Inspiration Week is a really important project helping youngsters be prepared for the tough realities of the world of work.
“By taking part, we hope we can help them to have a better chance of securing employment.
“We also want to inspire the youngsters to think about future careers in accountancy.”
