A couple thought to have the world’s longest marriage were visiting the Queen today.
Karam and Kartari Chand, aged 107 and 100 respectively, have been invited to a garden party at Buckingham Palace.
They travelled to London with son Sat Paul and his wife Rani. Sat Paul Chand said: “They are really looking forward to it, they can’t wait.”
The couple were born in India and have lived in Bradford since 1966.
They have been married for 87 years and live with their extended family in Washington Street, Girlington.
