Detectives investigating a hit-and-run crash in Bradford which left a male pedestrian badly injured today released the registration of a car they are keen to trace.
The plate, YT55 NPN, was believed to have been attached to a black Nissan Navara, which police believe struck the 39-year-old man early on Sunday in Huddersfield Road, Wyke.
The man suffered head injuries and was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary, where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
The vehicle is a double crew pick-up style vehicle with a flat back.
Detective Inspector George Bardell, of Bradford South CID, said: "I am really keen to trace this vehicle and would also be interested to hear from anyone who has seen people acting suspiciously around a Navara, or whether anyone has seen one that looks like it might have been abandoned."
Contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
* A 41-year-old Keighley man and a 30-year-old Halifax man have been arrested on suspicion of assault in connection with the investigation and released on bail pending further inquiries.
