Knife-wielding robbers stole £400 in an evening raid at a shop in Shipley, police revealed yesterday.
The two men, who had tights pulled over their faces, walked into the store in Wrose Road at about 9.50pm on Saturday.
One of the duo produced a blade that was similar in appearance to a steak knife and told the female shop worker to open the till.
They helped themselves to the money before leaving the store and walking towards Five Lane Ends.
Police yesterday released an appeal for witnesses to the robbery, or anyone who may have seen the suspects leaving the shop, to come forward.
The man who brandished the knife was white, about 5ft 9ins tall and slim. He was wearing a hooded top, black baggy jeans and white rubber gloves. The second man was of a larger build and about 5ft 10ins tall. He wore a hooded top which he kept pulling up around his face.
Anyone with information about the incident can telephone police on 101, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
