A police van and three marked cars were called to a commotion in Tyrell Square, Bradford, shortly after 2.30pm yesterday. Police handcuffed and took away one woman, believed to be in drink, in front of gathering onlookers.
A witness said the woman had got into an argument with a police community support officer and started to hit out, prompting the officer to call for back-up.
