Hospital worker Katherine Parker aims to conquer Mount Snowdon to raise money for the British Red Cross.
She will tackle the 3,560-ft Welsh peak, Britain’s highest outside Scotland, on July 6.
Katherine, 25, an acute admissions clerk at Airedale Hospital, Steeton, is a volunteer first aider with the Red Cross.
She said: “I’m hoping to raise at least £200 to support the work of the charity, which indirectly helps hospitals like Airedale by supporting the Yorkshire Ambulance Service and West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue.”
