Emmerdale star Matthew Wolfenden, who plays David Metcalfe, will officially unveil a new partnership aiming to get more children playing music.
Bradford Music Education Hub will bring together a host of organisations to boost music lessons for children and young people across the district.
It will be led by the Council’s music and arts service, and other partners include Yorkshire Young Musicians, the YMCA, the Bradford Bulls Foundation, Bradford City of Film, Windstruments and Hammonds Saltaire Brass Band. The Emmerdale star and Dancing On Ice champion will appear at a celebration event at St George’s Hall on July 6, marking the start of the partnership.
Hundreds of young people and their families will take part in the event by playing or listening to music and joining in workshops.
