Contractors were this week due to repair a Keighley road that broke up only weeks after being resurfaced.
Residents claim weeds began growing through the surface at Braithwaite Village, near Laycock, soon after it was laid.
Cracks also appeared in at least one part of the road, which had to be surfaced in three sections due to the recent snow.
Barry Eccles, who lives on the road, said residents had been trying for seven years to get it resurfaced.
He said it had been damaged repeatedly in recent years by utility companies digging holes and that contractors resurfaced the road about a month ago, with the work disrupted by snow.
Andy Whelan, the Council’s engineer, said: “The contractors are returning to carry out remedial repairs at Braithwaite Village where adverse weather has caused the preventative resurfacing to fail.”
