A golf day in aid of a man paralysed by a rare infection raised four times its original target.
The event, at Ilkley Golf Club, set out to raise £1,000 but has raised more than £4,000.
Money raised will go to the Callum Hall Trust, set up by 20- year-old Yeadon student Callum, who was paralysed after stepping on a sea urchin while on holiday in Greece last year.
Callum, who is being supported by a number of fundraising events, is trying to raise cash for continuing physiotherapy, care and special equipment as he fights to walk again.
The event was organised by friends from Northumbria University where Callum was training to be a PE teacher.
