Ward councillors for the Worth Valley agreed to commit £2,000 to help pay for a sensory memorial garden at Haworth Park.
The money will be allocated from the Keighley Area Committee Environment Fund.
Worth Valley councillor Glen Miller said: “My colleagues – councillors Russell Brown and Rebecca Poulsen – and I are delighted to have been able to work with Friends of Haworth Park to provide some of the funding.
“Having a dedicated area makes sense, and using the Old Nursery Garden area is perfect.”
