College staff will be making chocolate, go-karting and doing pilates during a day aimed at improving health in the workplace.
More employees are joining in a health initiative at Shipley College, which principal Nav Chohan thinks has helped lead to a reduction in sickness absence and an improved working environment.
On Tuesday, the college will host its third Well-Being at Work Day.
Mr Chohan said: “We take workplace health and well-being seriously and believe we go beyond the bare bones of the legal duty of care.”
A survey found 92 per cent of employees enjoyed going to work and felt motivated there, with 85 per cent believing the college genuinely cared about the health and wellbeing of staff.
Mr Chohan said: “There are obvious financial and operational benefits to having a healthy workforce.”
